Our 16-bed licensed Group Home A operates around the clock, providing supportive housing for youth working through trauma, chemical dependency, behavioral issues, and other challenges:
Our structured behavioral programming rewards positive choices and growth:
Youth earn privileges through progress, including outings, calls, recreation, and eventually home passes.
Respectfully cooperating, discussing things appropriately with adults, learning to talk about emotions with adults, and overall compliance with the program.
How they respond to others—for example, how they interact with peers in general, including both positive and negative communication and appropriate or inappropriate peer interactions, as well as setting appropriate boundaries.
The youth's overall willingness to participate in the program and accept the rules and programming, their overall participation in the program itself, and their adherence to the 10-level system.
Responding appropriately to authority figures in general, such as probation officers and others.
Education is a core part of our day. All youth attend school onsite in our fully accredited classroom led by certified special education teachers and paraprofessionals.
We partner with local school districts, including Fillmore Central Public Schools, to ensure continuity and credit transfer.
Our licensed therapist provides comprehensive mental health support:
For youth with dual-diagnosis needs, we coordinate with community providers for integrated care and medication management when needed.
From breakfast to lights out, our youth follow a predictable, nurturing schedule that builds life habits and emotional safety.
